Juanita May Lewis, 89, of Columbus, passed away on December 15, 2017. She was born on September 10, 1928 in Chariton, Iowa to John and Ethyl (McGinnis) Haines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Richard F. Lewis; son Scott Lewis; and brother John M. Haines. Juanita is one of the founding members of the Worthington Hills Country Club where she created many special family memories. While much of Juanita's life was being a dedicated mother and wife, she also took pride in her career as a registered nurse. She spent many years working in both hospitals and in doctor's offices. She is going to be deeply missed by her daughter Diane (John) Kapolka, grandchildren Heather (Kyle) Hoppes and Matt (Victoria) Burbage, and four great grandchildren.
