JoAnn Rothe

The beloved matriarch of the Family was born September 18, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry “Bud” Globe and Mary Acton. She is also proceeded in death by her husbands, Elwood Whaley and Jack Rothe, Sr.; brothers, Paul Globe and Robert Globe; her sister, Nancy Coleman; and granddaughter, Suzanne Rothe.

JoAnn is survived by her children, which she dedicated her life to Cherie (Mark) Lappen, Darrell “Lee” (Deanna) Whaley, Elwood “Woody” Whaley, Suzanne “Dee” (Johnny) Harvey, Mary (Kevin) Wheeler, Jack Rothe, Jr., Kimberly “Kim” (Robert) Hayes, Jeffrey “Jeff” Rothe; daughter-in-law, Jan (Mike) Baumann; sister-in-law, Margaret Globe; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her pride and joy, Duke.

Mom, Grandma, and Gigi deep in our hearts. You will be loved, cherished, remembered and greatly missed, until we meet again.

Family will accept friends Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and Friday, March 3, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Advantage by Schoedinger, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 3, 2023. Interment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery.

Food and fellowship will follow graveside services at Genoa Baptist Church at 7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville.
