Jeff Stone

Jeff Stone Jr., age 69, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2015. He was born November 15, 1945 in Caretta, WV to the late Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" and Sadie (Vanover) Stone. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post #532. Jeff retired from Lennox Industries. He enjoyed bluegrass music, was an avid Buckeye fan and was truly the "heart of the family". Everyone loved to be teased by Jeff and he will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria (Papp) Stone; children, Thearesa (Randy) Thomas and Jeff Stone; grandchildren, Ashton (Jesse) and their son Lucien, Zac, Brandon, Tanner, Cassandra, Brooke and Randilynn; brothers and sisters, Hollean (Garmin) Owens, Marie Pell, Nile Stone, Bill (Sue) Stone, Bob Stone, Kent (Carol) Stone, Larry (Sonya) Stone; brothers and sisters-in-law, Linda Sharrer, Gloria Puchovich, Steven Papp, Rusty (Lorene) Papp and Rick Conley; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and faithful companion "Gumball". In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by siblings, Jim Stone, Helen Collier, Champ Stone and JC Stone and brother-in-law William Papp. Per Jeff's wishes, there will be no public services and cremation has been entrusted to Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel.
