Jack G. Whitt, age 86 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011. Jack was born in Honaker, Virginia, son of the late Walter and Nora Whitt. Jack was a dependable man who was always helping others. He enjoyed to both water and snow ski as was also a wonderful cook. He will be missed by his wife, Betty; son, James (Jane); granddaughter, Jeannie (Jeff) Kerbler; great granddaughter, Kaylan Kerbler; sister, Eva (Richard) Stein; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday.
