Hank began his career in human resources at Chemical Abstracts and ended in at Lancaster General Hospital. Hank had a profound love for the Steelers, (and still loved his son-in-law who grew up a Browns fan), coaching, the beach, and most of all watching his grandchildren do their activities. He was known to be the biggest cheerleader and advocate for his grandchildren. He volunteered for many organizations throughout his life and most recently with the Knights of Columbus. Hank was best known for the phrase “God Love you” and had a well-known contagious laugh that brought joy to everyone around him. He was involved in his church, St. Cecilia and enjoyed the fellowship that he and Nancy have there. Hank and Nancy recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania so there are many fond memories to cherish.
A celebration of life will be held for Hank and his brother, Philip, at 10:00 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, June 17th at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in early fall at St. Cecelia Church in Columbus, Ohio.
