Helen Delores Leonard

Helen Delores Leonard, age 81, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010. She was born on June 26, 1929 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Chester and Goldie Reese. She retired from Southwestern City Schools after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett “Gene” Leonard; and brothers, Denver and Guy Reese. Survivors include her sons, Vic Leonard and Stan (Ruth) Leonard; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Melba Herbert, Wanda (Harold) Burgess; and Paul (Meda) Reese; and sisters in-law Phyllis and Edith Reese. Friends may call Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00AM. Pastor Owen Stotts and Rev. Stan Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
