Esther Alice Henderson Pepple, born in Benton, Illinois, died peacefully Friday, June 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, as well as her four sisters, 2 brothers, and one grandson, Stevie Grooms. She is survived by her children, Linda (Dennis) Grooms of West Jefferson, OH, Deborah (George) Schumacher of Dover, OH, Danny Pepple of Columbus, Mary Anne (Craig) Smith of Boulder, CO; 8 grandchildren, Mike (Jane) Gray of Delaware, OH, Suzanne (Kevin) VanBibber of West Jefferson, Doug (Nicole) Schumacher of Gibsonia, PA, Becky Schumacher of Lancaster, OH, Brigette and Bradley Pepple of Columbus, Adam and Matthew Smith of Boulder, CO; 8 great-grandchildren; Shelby and Samantha Thomas, Kristen and Kyle Gray, Logan and Lyrical VanBibber, Kasey Runyon, and Garrett Schumacher. Esther retired from The Ohio State University Department of Agriculture. She was a founding member of Meadow Park Church and formerly an active member of Clintonville Mother Singers. Friends may call from 12pm-1pm on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH where the funeral service will be held at 1pm.
