Dorothy R. Wagener

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, who she married on June 28, 1952 in Norwalk, Ohio. John was a life time member of Lions Club International and Dorothy enjoyed attending all events with him. She was a lifelong catholic and a member of St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church.

Dorothy will be greatly missed by son, John R. Wagener II. of Tontogany, Ohio; daughter, Marta Piotrowski of Upper Arlington, Ohio; granddaughters, Tara Hall of Dayton, Ohio, Amy Frost of Lima, Ohio, Emma Piotrowski of Upper Arlington, Ohio and Olivia Piotrowski of Upper Arlington, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Noah Hall, Katrina Frost and Tristan Frost; siblings, Rev. Norman Ruffing of Willits, California and Norbet Ruffing of Bratenhal, Ohio.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by her siblings, Sister Mildred Ruffing, Mary Rekart, Florence Ruffing, Robert Ruffing and Rev. Joseph Ruffing.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church, 1600 N. Hague Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43204. Interment at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
