Although born in Kentucky, Don grew up in Pickaway County, OH and graduated from Monroe High School in 1964. Through the years, he enjoyed working on the farm where he was raised, hunting, and bowling. As a lover of all things automobiles, Don enjoyed watching drag racing, NASCAR, and auto auctions, while often attending car shows. He spent his free time supporting others whether it be cheering on his loved ones at dance recitals and sporting events, shooting at Black Wing Shooting Center or working out in his shop with friends. Most of all, Don enjoyed spending time with family.
Don retired from Lennox Industries after 30 years of service, where he held numerous positions.
Don’s family would like to thank the wonderful Hospice nurses and aides for their exceptional care that helped keep him as comfortable as possible.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Don at a later date.
