Deidre Ellen Hedges

Deidre E. “Dee” Hedges, age 66, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at her home. She was born May 15, 1957 in Delaware, Ohio, daughter of the late Max and Margaret (Beddow) Ross. Dee was an geriatric LPN with several assisted living centers in Central Ohio. She will be sorely missed and is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mark G. Hedges; children, Mike (Sara) Bailey, Brian (Andrea) Bailey, Tara (Tom) Griffith and Shannon Hedges; granddaughters, Lily and Violet. Also survived by three sisters, Kristi (Sam) Forson, Sherri (John) Mitchell and Laurie (Scott) Pierce and four nieces and many friends. Dee had a outgoing personality with a great sense of humor to make everyone laugh. She had an eye for arts and crafts, was part of a group that designed their own greeting cards and loved traveling to the Hocking Hills and Amish country. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 23, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Health Foundation, c/o Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr, Columbus, OH 43214, in Dee’s name.
