Deborah J. Sexton

Deborah J. Sexton Rickels, age 65, of Etna, died Friday, November 11, 2022 at Mount Carmel East Hospital following a valiant battle with cancer. She was born November 14, 1956 in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio. Debbie was the payroll administrator with Atlas Butler Heating and Cooling for the last 20 years. She is survived by her husband Raymond E. Rickels, III; mother, Eva Jean Sexton; children, Ricky Reichenbacher and Heidi Jones; beloved grandchildren, Skye, Abbey, Ashton, Aspen, Joy, Autumn and David; sister, Susan Moore; nephew, Phillip Moore; nieces, Crystal Moore and Nichole Yerian; other relatives and many friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Earl H. Sexton Jr.; maternal grandparents, Vito and Rhea Iannone, nephew, Chad Moore and aunts and uncles, Nellie, Mildred, Ruth, Herbert, Donald and Eddie. Debbie loved The Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved to bake and cook to give things away to make others happy. She never met a stranger and could brighten anyone’s day. Debbie cherished the years her and Ray were able to go camping and the amazing people they met along the way. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2022. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
