David Whitlock

David Lee Whitlock II, 59, passed away at home on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Dave is a lifelong resident of Gahanna, Ohio, where he was born to David Lee and Florence Whitlock on June 22, 1961. He is a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School.

Dave will be remembered for his deep love for his family and friends. He was known for his "tough love" and his dedication to those in his circle. He was a passionate employee and spent many years as a roofer. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State football team and would rarely miss a game. He also enjoyed golfing with his buddies. Dave will be missed dearly by his family and his lifetime friends, who regularly meet each weekend for breakfast at Creekside.

Dave is preceded in death by his father, David Lee Whitlock and his brother, Wayne Whitlock.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Florence Whitlock; his children, Daniell (Billy) Warner, Clinton Gibson and Stormi Gibson; his grandchildren, Carson, Riley, and Marley; his dear friend, Lisa Whitlock; his sister-in-law, Linda Whitlock; nephews, Matt (Katie) Whitlock and Michael Whitlock; best friends, Dave (Sherri) Drosos, Steven Carpenter, Rick Carpenter, Paul Sprouse, and Bill (Kathy) Drosos; and many friends and extended family.
