David E. Fast Jr. passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at his home. He was born in Columbus on April 9, 1937 to the late David E. and Clara Immel Fast. He is also preceded in death by his brother Gary Fast; step-mom, Helen Fast; step-dad Jim Bishop.
A United States Navy Veteran, he retired from the City of Columbus.
A devoted Husband, Pops, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa, Brother and Uncle. He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 60 years Donna; sons: Michael and Patrick Fast; grandchildren: Damien Fast, Ashley Armstrong, Tiffany and Josh Fast; many great-grandchildren; brother Ernie "Porky" (Bea) Fast; nieces and nephews.
A man of many hobbies, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing golf, race cars, and sports of all types.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Advantage by Schoedinger North at 5554 Karl Road, followed by a Funeral Service at. We will process to Union Cemetery for a Graveside Service.
