Clayton Randolph Allen

Clayton "Randy" Allen, 77, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born February 16, 1937 in Huntington, WV to the late Claude E. and Verlina (Leap) Allen. Randy proudly served in the US Air Force from 1955-1959. He was a member of the AMVETS Post #89 and the New England Lodge No. 4 FandAM. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Anna B. Allen; son, Michael Allen; siblings, Lucille Lewis, Bob Allen, Ramona Allen, Barbara Ross, Charles Louie Allen, Mary Sue Adkins, and Linda Hood; step-sons, Harold Russell Johnson and Howard Lee Johnson. He is survived by siblings, Eugene Allen, Frances Ball, and Ruby Nance; step-children, Phyllis Ann Caldwell, Nancy Sue Spence, Ray Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Ronnie Johnson; grandchildren, Jessica Allen and Elisa Blue Allen; great-grandchildren, Josiah Blue and Carson Blue; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., where a Masonic service will begin at 7:30 pm. The funeral service will be held 11:30 am Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
