Carolyn R. Morgan, age 99, of Reynoldsburg the past fourteen years, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community, Reynoldsburg with family by her side. She was born July 15, 1921 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late William and Edna (Polk) Bock. She graduated from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis and received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (1943) from the Herron School of Art and Design. Carolyn retired following eighteen years as a commercial fashion design artist for F and R Lazarus. She also loved her life-long work as a commissioned portrait artist and often shared her artistic talent with her church and many other organizations. Carolyn will be dearly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Bill Witler, Glen Arbor, MI and Connie and Mark Kollath, Hilliard, OH; her beloved grandchildren, Erika Witler and Jason (Anna) Witler, Andrew (Emily) Pohl and Tanner Kollath and great grandchildren, Rose and Isabel Witler, Gabriel and Jacob Notarangelo. Also survived by two nieces, Glenna Adams and Georgia Harle, her sister-in-law JoAnn Martz, the Martz family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lt Col Walter K. Morgan in 2004 and a sister, Miriam Marker. Her faith and positive, loving spirit brightened the lives of everyone around her. Carolyn was a member and sang in the choir of Eastview United Methodist Church. She also was a past member of Bexley Art League, and the Officers' Wives Club of Lockbourne Air Force Base. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 with Chaplain Richard Thomas officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
