Carol S Sturgill, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1944 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Glen and Eva (Wright) Oxier. Carol joins in death her parents; husband Roy T. Sturgill and son Roy T. Sturgill Jr. She leaves behind her children David (Rhonda) Toensing Sr. and Thomas (Rosa) Sturgill; grandchildren Jordan Sturgill, Emily Sturgill, Hannah Sturgill, Zander Sturgill, Alyssa Toensing, David Toensing and Ena Edmisten; great grandchildren Jayden Edmisten, Jace Edmisten and Maggie Edmisten; siblings Freddie Lemaster, Deborah Lemaster, Beau Lambert, Glen Oxier and Charles Oxier. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, fishing and playing cards. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM with her funeral service starting at 11AM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger – LINDEN, 2741 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43224. Glen Oxier will be officiating the service. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
