Brian Douglas Williams, age 60, of Bexley, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio on March 5, 1962, the son of Donald R. and Carolyn (Poling) Williams. Brian was a Sergeant First Class with the U.S. Army retiring after serving for 20 years. He was the owner of Make A List Handyman Services. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather and loyal friend who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Williams; daughter Diana Williams and son-in-law, Anthony DiGiannantoni; grandchildren Gianna and Nico DiGiannantoni; niece Laura Nicholas; six great nieces and great nephews; good friend, Nancy Martin along with many other faithful longtime friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Williams; sister Laura Williams and niece, Myriah. Brian was member of 1980 class of Bexley High School. While serving in the Army, Brian traveled extensively serving in Korea, Europe and the Middle East. He was stationed in Texas, Kansas and Georgia in the United States, and Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Bosnia and South Korea. Brian was a kind, outgoing gentleman who cared about those less fortunate - he would help anyone in need. He had a great sense of humor, loved “loud music” and all types of food, but his favorite was barbecues with family and friends. Friends may call Noon – 3pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232. Private interment with Military Honors will be held at Glen Rest Memorial Estate at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Disabled American Veteran’s or Heer to Serve, in Brian’s memory.
