Betty E. Howard, age 86, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on June 27, 2024. She was born on Jan. 2, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James and Catherine (Byrd) Edwards. She joins in death her parents; husband James E. Howard; son Barry Howard; brothers James E. Edwards Jr. and William P. Edwards. She leaves behind her daughters Barbara Furlow and Britt Howard Craft; grandchildren Simone Melvin, Gavin Green, Maik Craft, Brooke Furlow, Ronald E. Furlow Jr. and Bianca Howard; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is sister Delores Harris. Betty enjoyed painting and working in her garden. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202. A funeral service will be held on Friday July 5, 2024 at 2:30PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
