Beth Harmount

Beth was a woman of many talents and interests. She cherished her small town roots but enjoyed city life and extensive travel across the United States and to other parts of the world. She was fun-loving and built beautiful friendships throughout her personal and professional life. Her cooking and hosting was treasured by all who experienced it. She was a perfect partner to her husband who will never let go of the memories of their travels, Buckeye football and Crew soccer games, delicious meals, great libations, hangouts with world class friends, holiday family gatherings, epic hikes and fun-filled vacations. Most of all she loved trips to Kiawah Island, her “happy place” since childhood. Yet Beth also loved being at home in the house she and Jeff created together.

Beth will be deeply missed by her husband Jeff Cross, stepson Kevin Cross, his wife Cara Cross and granddaughter Ivy Cross; stepdaughter Ellen (Cross) Carroll and her husband Brandon Carroll; sister Karen (Harmount) Graft and her husband Jim Graft, brother Scott Harmount and his wife Marian (Eyler) Harmount; stepbrother John Cross; plus the rest of her adoring family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by father-in-law S. Howard Cross and mother-in-law Susan (Kline) Cross.

A Memorial Service and Tribute to a life well lived will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221, where a Visitation will follow from 11:30 AM – 1 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center, in lieu of flowers.
