Angela M. Thomas

Angela M. Thomas, 95, passed away on June 8, 2023. Angela was a proud Bavarian, born November 6, 1927 in Pfarrkirchen, Germany. She was the second of four children of Barbara and Josef Rauch. Following WWII Angela married, emigrated to the United States and was the mother of three children. Angela later married the love of her life, Dr. Robert Thomas, D.O. Angela was a talented, enthusiastic singer and an active and generous patron of the arts. She was the president of The Doctors Wives Guild, Symphony and an opera support group. She was especially proud to have been past-president of the National Damenchor Association. Angela loved her family, friends, and her Irish setter and schnauzers. Angela was the life of the party and loved travel, entertaining and fine cuisine. Angela and Bob were always the first onto the dance floor and the last to leave.

Angela is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Robert L. Thomas; and siblings, Josef Jr and Josefine. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Richard Rauch; children, Paul Blevins, Rick Blevins, Barb Fishman and Susie Preston; grandchildren, Kate Wagy, Kristen Jackson, Joey Blevins, Will Blevins, Mike Blevins, and Margo Blevins; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Blevins, Cannon Blevins Hudson Wagy, Rayleigh Blevins and Trevor Blevins.

Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Northwest where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13 from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 14 at 12:30pm followed by entombment at Union Cemetery.
