Roseann lived in Columbus, IN and was a retired teacher who taught at Columbus East High School and served as President of the Columbus Educator's Association. She graduated from Columbus High School and Indiana University Bloomington where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, a Master's in Secondary Education, and a certification in teaching English as a second language. Before graduation she completed a summer study program at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico.
She also assisted Columbus Engine Company by providing conversational Spanish programs. She had a passion for familial genealogy and a love of animals.
Roseann was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Henrietta Tellman; and her father, Lawrence Noel Barnett.
Roseann is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Alan Maudlin; daughters, Laura (Jeremy) Guill; Megan (Russell) Baum; grandchildren, Marley Ochs and Taylor Baum. Also surviving are her beloved dog, Munchie; and many other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends, all of whom loved her deeply and will miss her greatly.
She will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date.
