Mr. DeHaven was a carpenter for 30 years and retired from Repp and Mundt. He loved fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. He also enjoyed football.
Surviving are his loving wife, Debra K. Caldwell; children, Jeremy (Shannon) DeHaven of Ft. Worth, TX, Chad DeHaven of Elizabethtown, and Jennifer DeHaven of Columbus; mother, Anna M. DeHaven of Columbus; siblings, Vicki (Steve) Brown of South Carolina, Gerald (Lori) DeHaven of Columbus, Cindy (Kevin) Hobbs of Indianapolis, and Joy Cook of Columbus; grandchildren, Lexi, Landon, Cody, Stefan, Aiden, and Abriel DeHaven, and Kaylynn and Kinzie Lockhart; and great-grandchildren, Lukas and Saya DeHaven. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter W. DeHaven.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Myers-Reed Chapel. Interment will be private at a later date.
