Juanita, along with her late husband, Larry, were the owners Larry’s Tire Service in Columbus. They operated the business until 2010. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always at her grandchildren’s events.
Surviving are her loving sons, Jason (Stacy) Rice, and Bobby (Kelley) Rice, all of Columbus; siblings, Judy (Garry) Holden, Linda (Wayne) Thompson, Jack Whitehead, and Jessie (Tim) Mikesell, all of Columbus; and grandchildren, Lane, Caly, Aden, Rylee, and Izabella, all of Columbus. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Larry F. Rice; and a brother, Jerry Whitehead.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th St.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 also at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan DeFriece officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery.
