Harold A. Keller

Mr. Keller was born on January 12, 1920 in Bartholomew County, IN., the son of the late Harvey M. and Mable I. Hoehn Keller.

He married Janet L. Huff on July 16, 1955 in Edinburgh, IN. and she preceded him in death on February 12, 2008.

Mr. Keller was a retired farmer. He was a School Bus Driver for 22 ½ years for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation.

Mr. Keller was a member of First Christian Church in Columbus, IN., Indiana Beef Cattleman’s Association, Indiana Farm Bureau, Prairie Promenaders and Belles & Beaux. He was also an alumnus of Future Farmers of America.

The funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Keller will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th St. with Dan Wallace officiating.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday and from 9:00 am until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Entombment will be at the Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mr. Keller is survived by two sons, John D. (fiancé, Andrea Silvers) Keller of Columbus, IN. and Robert T. (Suzanne) Keller of Low Moor, Iowa; a daughter, Kimala A. Boyd of Indianapolis, IN.; and six grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Keller of San Antonio, TX., Trevor and Samuel Wierenga and Chloe Keller all of Low Moor, Iowa and Rhegan Case and Ryley Nobbe both of Columbus, IN.

Along with his parents and wife of 52 years, Mr. Keller was also preceded in death by his two sisters.
