Vivian Hudson Hall, daughter of the late Norman Hudson and Olive Wadsworth Hudson was born in Cairo, Georgia on September 7, 1940. She graduated in the last graduating class from Ochlochnee High School in 1958.
She was married to Harold W. Grissom in December of 1967. This union was blessed with two children. Harold preceded her in death in August of 1997. She was married to Ralph Hall, Jr in March of 2010 in Columbus, Georgia.
Vivian worked in the home supporting the family and cared for Harold during the last several years of his life through illness. She was an active member of Edgewood Assembly of God. Vivian had a beautiful and generous spirit. She loved church and the Lord. She was devoted to her family, loved gardening, and music. Above all, she loved to laugh. She was kind, faithful, and patient. She quietly departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at St Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, surrounded by her loved ones.
Her life was deeply cherished in the lives of her children and posterity: Pamela Lynn (Brent) Netherland of Salem, Alabama, Robert Thomas (Jasmine) Grissom of Chesapeake, Virginia, Debora Stanislawski of Columbus, Georgia, Terry Hall of Dothan, Alabama; her grandchildren Megan Rhodes, Samii Robinson, Terry Hall, Jr., Aiden Grissom, Jason Miller, Brooke Nichols; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Millie Weaver; as well as a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
Funeral Services will be at Edgewood Assembly of God on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Macon Road Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the St. Elmo Room.
