Rita A Mock

Rita Ann Mock, 93, of Columbus, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2024, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia with a visitation one hour prior at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia.

Rita was born on June 9, 1931, in Alabama. A follower of Christ, she attended worship at Britt David Baptist Church and was retired from Sears after over 20 years of employment. She loved spending her free time with her family and church, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O. Mock of over 60 years; her parents; and her grandson, Shayne Golden. Survivors include her children, Pamela Golden (Dennis), Debbie Josey (David), and Trina Mock; her grandchildren, Kelly Booker (Jeremy), Mandy Revell (Carson), Ashley Josey, and Cassidy Meyer; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Booker, Crosby Revell, Hollis Revell, Everleigh Meyer, and Bexten Meyer.
