Regina Odell

Regina “Gina” Lee O’Dell, 53, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2013.  Graveside services will be held in Parkhill Cemetery, Chapel of the Pines at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2013 with Rev. Bill Mayhew officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia.  The family will greet friends at the Chapel of the Pines beginning at 11:00 AM until service time.

Mrs. O’Dell was born July 18, 1959 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to Chuck and Marie Norris.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend who will be missed dearly. Mrs. O’Dell was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Mayo Norris and a brother, Larry Just.

Survivors include her loving husband, Harry James O’Dell of Waverly Hall, GA; her father, Chuck Norris and his wife, Mary of Columbus, GA; two sons, Johnny Poe and his wife, Tonya of Columbus, GA and T.J. Poe and his wife, Kimberly of Newport News, VA; six grandchildren; her sister, Cheryl Youmans of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Charles “Rocky” Norris, Jr. of Columbus, GA and Jeff Norris and his wife, Candy of Atlanta, GA; sisters-in-law, Wanda Just of Nebraska, Janice Elaine Wells and her husband, Sonny of Phenix City, AL, Debra Austin and her husband, Thomas of Candler, NC, Linda Howard and husband David of Phenix City, AL and Brenda Carr and husband, Jeff of Wallace, NC; a brother-in-law, Michael Carl O’Dell of Candler, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
