Regina (Licavoli) Harmon, age 58, of Shiloh, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Regina was born March 14, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents, Vitina (Lena) Licavoli and Joseph Licavoli.
Regina attended Clark Elementary School in Detroit, Michigan until the 6th grade when she and her family moved to San Diego, California in 1973. In San Diego, Regina attended Pershing Junior High School and then went on to Patrick Henry High School. After high school graduation, Regina attended Grossmont College where she obtained her Associates degree in Dental Assisting.
Regina was a very hard working mother and wife. She worked many years as a Registered Dental Assistant while living in San Diego, California before moving to Georgia. After moving to Georgia in 2000, she continued working in the dental field as an Office Manager for Valley Health Care. Regina and her late husband Richard Harmon of 30 years raised 2 children together, Joseph Ray Harmon and Cayla Maria Harmon Smoot and grandson, Joseph Alexander Harmon, who she adored.
Regina was a caring, fun loving woman who had a “Happy go lucky personality.” Her love for her husband, children, grandson, extended family and friends shined through to everyone who knew her. She loved family gatherings where she would cook and laugh, while making wonderful memories with her family, sisters and young grandson. Regina’s strong Christian belief and faith in our Lord helped her through many challenges in her life. Regina leaves a legacy in her children and in her faith. She was a very proud of both her children and taught them many lessons about love, faith, family and traditions. All will miss her dearly.
Along with her parents, her husband Richard Harmon precedes Regina in death. Her son, Joseph Ray Harmon, her daughter, Cayla Marie Harmon, her sisters, Virginia Bojorques, Anita Licavoli-Gonzales and grandson Joseph Alexander Harmon, survives Regina. 6 nephews, 1 great nephew and many cousins and friends also survive Regina.
A memorial celebration of Reginia’s life will occur at New Vision Christian Church, 8132 GA Hwy 85, Waverly Hall, GA 31831. A date and time for her memorial will be announced at a later date.
