Judy Anne Rhodes

Judy Anne Rhodes, 66, of Columbus, GA, passed away on Tuesday September 5, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm. The family will have visitations on Friday September 8, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Saturday afternoon Sept. 9, 2017, one hour prior to services.

Judy was born in Columbus, Georgia on Wednesday, March 21, 1951 to Hansel Daniels and Virginia Mae White Daniels. She was raised and educated here, in Columbus, GA. At a dance in 1965 at Arnold Junior High, she met and danced with a young man, Stephen E. Rhodes. On August 22, 1969, this young couple was married and was inseparable. Stephen was in the Army, like many in the military, they moved a lot and all over, eventually settling down in Columbus. She was always there, loving him and loving her family. She enjoyed and loved many things during her life most importantly, her husband and her family. Over time, her family grew, as did her love for each and every grandchild. Oh, how she loved her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hansel and Virginia Daniels. Survivors include, her husband, Stephen E. Rhodes; her children Stephen C. Rhodes and Tabitha A. Harris; grandchildren Tiffiny Rigsby, Nikki Strickland, Cody Strickland, Michael Rhodes, Chelsey Rhodes, Kristy, Rhodes; Great grandchildren, Hunter, Zoe, Dekoda, Kouper, Lily, Toney, Alicia, Kevin, Ken Ken, Tyler, Ronan, Brayden, Aleah, Dakota, Amber, Ashley, Michael, and Whitney.
