Joseph Skylar McMahon, 3, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. A visitation for Skylar will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 2PM until 4PM with a funeral service being held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2PM in the Edgewood Hall Chapel of Striffler-Hamby. He will be privately laid to rest at Parkhill Cemetery.
Skylar was born on August 6, 2018 to Brandon Bordeau and Jamie McMahon. He loved playing with cars, trucks, his best friend, Christian and his sister. Skylar also loved watching Baby Shark, Coco-melon, and Paw Patrol. He was full of life, and never met a stranger. Skylar had an infectious laugh. He would often laugh at everything, whether it was bubbles being blown, his brother Bryce making funny faces or animals.
Skylar is preceded in death by his Pawpaw, Michael Powell; his granddaddy, James Fillyaw Sr.; his aunt, Kimberly Roland; and his uncle, David Sheffield.
Those left to cherish the memories of Skylar are his parents, Brandon Bordeau and Jamie McMahon; four siblings, Emma, Lilliana and Bryce McMahon, and Leighton Bordeau; his nana, Tamara Powell; Mimi, Candace Foxworth; four aunts, Jennifer Fulton, Brook Cronk, Crystal Clark, and Michelle Aaron; five uncles, Robert Parker, Alex Mcleod, Nathan Aaron, Jason Parks, and Barry Merrill; two great-grandmothers, Ilene Warwick and Shirley Tripp and one great uncle, Tim Donovan.
