Gerald Thomas Herring

Gerald Thomas Herring went by many names Gerald, G, Buh, Dad, Paw Paw, Dummy, uncle Dummy, and he would answer to anything other than late for dinner. He was loved by so many and that was very evident on the days after is departure. He touched the lives of many and could make anyone laugh. He loved his family more than anything and he was the definition of the word selfless. Playing with his grandchildren was his favorite past time. He enjoyed many things watching movies, riding 4 wheelers, eating popcorn and porkskins, drinking DDP, and game night. He loved to work on cars and to teach anyone to work on cars but more than anything about carwashs. He was known by many as a wizard of the carwash industry he could troubleshoot anything over the phone or in person. Gerald and his son started their own Carwash install company, True Carwash Services, in 2020 and he leaves big shoes to fill.

He is now with his favorite dog Theo.

Gerald is survived by his wife April Danniette Herring, his daughters Haleigh Jade Herring, Amber Leigh Herring, and Caitlynn Alise Herring, his son Timothy Paul Holtzen Jr, his daughter in law Shanon Marie Holtzen , his brother Michael Anthony Johnston, his sister in law Tracy Johnston, his granddaughter Rilynn Alisha Holtzen, and his grandsons Logan Scott Holtzen, Kaius Thomas Raby, and Jasper Alexander Tucker, and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
