Eileen was born on August 8, 1936 to the late William P. Malloy and Eva Bishop Malloy in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she attended school and worked at her family's restaurant, The Malloy Diner. She also met the love her life, Robert A. Clouthier, here at the age of thirteen. They married when she was 17 in November of 1953 and remained married until Robert's death in 2015. They were married for 62 years and in 1993, they had renewed their vows.
She was a devoted wife and mother, who always placed the needs of her family above her own. Her whole world revolved around her family. Eileen always loved to cook for them too. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, knitting, and sewing. She was renowned for her faith, being deeply committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church, actively participating in sacraments like Mass and confession, demonstrating her strong devotion to Jesus Christ.
Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Clouthier; her children, Wayne and Keith Clouthier, followed by four sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include children, Robert Clouthier (Nola) of Shiloh, GA, Francis Clouthier (Tammie) of Waverly Hall, GA, and Tammy Garza (Eloy) of Kerrville, TX, and daughter-in-law Sherry Clouthier. Followed by grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many many great great grandchildren. She will always remembered for the warmth and kindness she had towards the family and be deeply missed.
A Visitation for the Family and Friends of Eileen will be held on December 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel, 4701 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. Following a Graveside Service at Parkhill Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Deacon Dewayne Tillman will be officiating.
