Daniel (Danny) Thomas Boswell born March 5th, 1957 went to be with his heavenly father on September 5th, 2022 surrounded by his family at home. The family would like for you to join us for a Memorial Service officiated by his son Randy Boswell on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at 3 pm with a visitation at 2 pm at Striffler Hamby Mortuary as we celebrate his life.
The son of John Thomas Boswell and Margaret Nadine Thweatt, Danny was a Columbus native that attended Jordan Vocational High School, and spent the majority of his adult life employed at Swift Denim. His life was exemplified by his faith, his love for his family, and his passion for all things University of Georgia football. He was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved to hunt. His infectious sense of humor was always on display, as he loved to joke and tease others.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael (Mickey) Wayne Boswell.
His surviving relatives include his wife Dianne Kirkland Boswell, his sons Randy Thomas Boswell (Katie) of Gainesville, GA, Daniel Kade Boswell of Columbus, GA; and his daughter Melissa Danielle Berenguer (Michael) also of Columbus, GA. He has four grand children, Grace Olivia Berenguer, Aiden Thomas Boswell, Isaiah Xander Berenguer, and Sofia Brooklyn Berenguer. He is survived by three brothers Johnny (Diane) of Lakeland, FL, Ronnie (Ronda) of Columbus, GA, and Phillip (Glenda) of Santee, SC. He has two sisters Charlotte Harris (Bruce) of Phenix City, AL and Debra Hampton of Woodstock, GA. He also has numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends that he cherished. Danny was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
