Alison Lee Lovett Andrews, age 53, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Family and friends will be received for visitation on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia, 31907. Funeral Services and Interment be held at Riverdale Cemetery, 1000 Victory Drive, Columbus, Georgia, 31901 on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ken Dawson will be officiating.
Alison was born on December 15, 1969, in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Harold Kenneth Lovett and Judith Emily Gill Lovett and was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Georgia. She was a Licensed Master Cosmetologist and was previously employed at Reese’s Barber Shop and Northside Barber Shop. Alison was passionate about her job and had many clients over the years, some became close personal friends. She loved: going to the beach, pool time, listening to music, dancing, visiting family and friends, telling jokes, making people laugh, having fun at all gatherings and enjoying nature. She was a dedicated animal lover and her pets meant the world to her. Alison was adamant about her faith and her Sunday routine always included watching Cascade Hills Church Sunday Service live broadcast. She often commented how Pastor Brent Purvis’ message always provided an explanation and clarity of Bible Scriptures that was very meaningful to her life. Alison was truly loved by her entire family, especially her son and grandchildren. Family was everything to Alison!
Alison is preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Lee Reynolds and mother, Judith Emily Gill Lovett.
Alison is survived by her father Harold “Buddy” Lovett (Peggy); son, Mark Levon Reynolds II (Kayley); grandchildren, Landon, Madeline, Marley, and Maverick; sisters, Helen Margaret Lasseigne (Bob), Chanda Lynn Martin (Ross), LaTricia Louise Juetten (Don), and Judith Ann Jones; four nieces, Samantha Jones, April Jones, Hailey Joyner, and Emily Gomillion; four nephews, Ron Jones, Trey Cannon, Cameron Joyner and Logan Cannon; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to her unforgettable and caring Piedmont Northside Hospital Medical Team: Dr. Fahad Choudhary and Nurses Zoe, Eseosa, Naila, Nikki, Kate and Teresa for keeping Alison comfortable during her final days. We apologize for anyone we may have left out, but we are eternally grateful for all of your compassionate care and support for Alison and our family.
