William is survived by his loving daughter, Emileigh Paris Coolidge (Dylan). William is preceded in death by James and Pearl Marrs (parents), James R. Marrs (brother), David Larry Marrs (brother), and Ginger Leigh Davis (sister).
William thoroughly enjoyed his career in law enforcement and was an avid gun collector. Later, he enjoyed teaching CPW classes to educate others about guns and gun safety. William never missed the opportunity to flirt with a pretty lady or joke around with his friends.
The family would like to thank Pruitt Health of Columbia for its loving devotion, care, and support, especially its nurses Tiffany, Tracey, Valencia, hospice nurse Janet, social worker Lauren, and Sophie from the business office. The family would also like to thank Bryan and Tammy Kyzer, especially for their friendship and support during William’s health battles. You always stood by his side, and he loved you dearly.
A funeral service will be held at Providence Lutheran Church in Lexington, South Carolina, on January 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
