Warren Alan Kohn

Warren Alan "Chickle” Kohn, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. Warren was born May 5, 1937, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a graduate of Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He practiced law in Columbia, South Carolina for many years. One of his greatest joys was placing children in their forever homes.

He was predeceased by his parents, Miriam and Albert Kohn, of Charleston, South Carolina and his brother, Stanley Kohn, of Columbia, South Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Kohn and his son, Joseph Kohn of Columbia, South Carolina and his daughter, Gena Kohn White (Bill) of St. Augustine, Florida, his grandchildren Taylor, Erin and Abby Kohn of Camden, South Carolina and Dorothy, Will, Sam and Emily White of St. Augustine, Florida.

He is also survived by his sister, Suellen Kohn Segal (Bob) of Charleston, South Carolina.

He will be fondly remembered as a loving father and grandfather with a keen wit and sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
