Vicki Vassy Holler

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Vicki Vassy Holler, 72, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024, at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church, with visitation following at the church. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Lynchburg Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Lynchburg, S.C.

Mrs. Holler died Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Born in Lynchburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Vassy and Rosemary Vincent Vassy. She was a graduate of Columbia College where she received her B.A. in Special Education. She received her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina. Vicki taught second and third grade and in the Achievement Center at Heathwood Hall for 31 years. She was an active participant at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking, summers in the family cottage at Lake Junaluska, N.C. and spending time with her grandchildren. She adored being a mother, grandmother, wife and sister.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, The Rev. John E. Holler, Jr. of Columbia, SC; son, John E. Holler, III of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Ryan Radaker (Kyle) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Adlai Vassy Moore, Langston Emory Moore, Louisa Perry Moore; brother, Robert Gillespie Vassy, Jr. (Patti) of Florence, SC; and nephew, Robert Gillespie Vassy, III.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her niece, Anna Marie Vassy.
