Thomas W. Wooten

CHAPIN – A memorial service for Thomas Wesley Wooten, 72, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock, SC. The family will receive friends for one hour following the service at the church. A private inurnment will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 367, White Rock, SC 29177.

Mr. Wooten was born August 15, 1938 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. He was a son of the late Jesse Talmadge Wooten and Ruth Amanda Whittle Wooten. Mr. Wooten was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. He was a retired Business Manager at Herndon Chevrolet and formerly a Business Manager at Love Chevrolet Co.

Mr. Wooten is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Brown Wooten; sons, David T. Wooten of Greenville and Todd W. Wooten of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Taylor B. Wooten and Jordan A. Wooten; and a first cousin, Hazel Hunt of Columbia, SC.
