Sandra "Sandy" Ann Ehret

Sandra "Sandy" Ann Ehret, age 79, of Blythewood, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, in Columbia South Carolina. She was the wife of Barry Ehret of Blythewood, South Carolina. Born September 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Emil J. and Theresa M. Mason of Northampton, Pennsylvania.

Sandy moved to South Carolina in 1987 with her family, where she worked as a real estate agent for more than 20 years. Sandy loved the outdoors, picking strawberries and seashells at the beach. She spent many years following her son, Brian’s, racing career and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sandy was known for her love of dogs, everything the color red and wonderfully cooking. Her kind heart and sweet smile were a warm welcome to anyone she encountered.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Barry of 58 years, son Brian of Charleston South Carolina, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Woody and Besty Ehret of Parkersburg, West Virginia. She is also survived by granddaughters Taylor Michelle of Greenville, South Carolina and Blakely Ann of Savannah, Georgia, nieces Michelle Angalet (Mike), Tina Scoular and nephew John Ehret (Mara).

A mass for the celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 721 Polo Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29223 with a reception for family and friends immediately following the service.
