Earl & I are grieving with you the loss of our precious Sandi. She was more family to us, not just a friend. We have so many wonderful memories of times spent with Sandi & all of you. Wow, our boys were only babies when we first met. Please know that we are here for you all if you need anything, even if it is just to talk or reminisce. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We Love you guys so much. Much Love & Many Blessings to you.

Sandi/ Charlie and Wayne/ I have been friends since our days  at Petersen. We have shared good times and some not so good but through it all we called on Jesus to show us the way.  We've shared a few meals together; I will always remember you friend when I go to JRCash.  We spend time on the phone, even shared prayer together, bragged on our wonderful spouses and laughed at lot's of things. I will watch out for Charles the best I can. I will looked forward to seeing you in Heaven one day, my friend.  Love You, Doris

Sandi’s Poem

The Lord reached down and took my hand
I could hear the sound of the angel’s band
I simply rose up into the sky
Never enough time to say goodbye

Jesus said, “Sandi, come walk with me”
Ah, what a sight my eyes did see
The beauties that behold me no words can describe
Jesus, family and friends are walking by my side

My body was frail and oh so weak
The last few weeks have been so bleak
But now is the time for you all to rejoice
Please don’t be sad, just raise up your voice

Sing to the Lord in the Heavens above
I’m singing and shouting with all my love
I’m now happy and no more pain
My riches in Heaven I have now gained.

Peace is what the Lord will give you
Just pray each day and He’ll see you through
I’ll be watching over you day and night
You won’t be far from my loving site

Charlie,  one day you’ll join me in God’s wondrous land
Then once again we’ll walk hand in hand
As we’ve done for many a year

I knew Sandi at Petersen Presbyterian  Church when we were both members there.  Others here have mentioned her smile and that is what I remember most about her.  The Bush family always sat in the row in front of me along with Eric and Trent.  I remember all those "growing" years with the boys getting taller and taller.  I cherish those years at Petersen Church and knowing Sandi made them all the sweeter.  I send my most sincere sympathy to Charles, Rob, and Steve during this time of such sorrow.   I know you will always hold your sweet, precious times with her close to your hearts for years to come.  

There is not one female friend that I've enjoyed knowing more than Sandi Bush.  From sitting in a restaurant in Miami Beach when that chef could not cook Sandi"s steak well enough.  She wanted it well-done and sent it back three times before giving up.  Through many years at Union conventions, where I was the garbage eater {I was heavy in those days}: at the end of one dinner, Sandi instigated the plan to send all the butter pats to my seat.  To the naming of my Daughter, Mandi;  notice the name as it is spelled with an i and not a y.  Many memories that I still carry with me.  She and Charles are great friends, and I send my deepest feelings to the family at this time.  God bless!   Bob Cowsert

This will forever be my beautiful Sandi tree. It's blooming now in HONOR of her as she is spending time with Jesus.  Each year it will be blooming now just for her.  I love you Sandi

To the family of Sandi, I send my deepest sympathy. Sandi and I graduated in 1965 from A.C.Reynolds, Asheville, NC. 

Sandi was one you never forgot. She had the brightest eyes and the most beautiful smile.  Losing Sandi   hurts. She always included a sick family member of mine in her posts. I will miss seeing Sandi's posts on Facebook.

May God pour out comfort and strength to each one of you. Yes, Sandi reminded one of a gentle Angel.  My heart aches.

Sandy was a student at AC Reyolds and I was the librarian, and loved working with her Dad as a teacher at our school. She and her two sisters were lovely young ladies, always with smiles and kindness shown to those around them.   Prayers for God to give the family Peace, Grace and Comfort in the coming days, weeks and months as they face life without her.

As Sandy's high school classmate, I remember her smile, her gentle spirit, and her friendship.   Though she will be missed at our next reunion, her memory will linger in our hearts forever.  

Our family would like to send our deepest sympathy to Ms. Sandy's family. She has been a dear friend to my mother for many years and she has been very good to me also Emma's daughter, Linda.  
Her and my mother Emma Hamel have shared many laughs as well as tears over the years. She was always someone you could count on no matter what. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace our friend. With much Sympathy and love,
