Robert Edward Royer Sr.

COLUMBIA - Robert Edward Royer, Sr., 79, died Sunday, May 9, 2021. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Wilbur Carroll Royer and Florence Viola Johnson Royer. Robert raised his family in Clifton, NJ. After retiring, he lived in Henderson, Nevada for 15 years before moving to Blythewood, SC.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Lois Margaret Royer; sons, Robert Royer, Jr. (Nancy) of Lexington, SC and Kevin Royer (Lisa) of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Nicole Royer of Lansdowne, VA, Brandon Royer of Lexington, SC, Taylor Royer of Laurinburg, NC, Eireann Royer of Jacksonville, NC and Evan Royer of Norwich, CT; brother, Francis Royer of Henderson, NV; and brother-in-law, Norman Robertson of Tucson, AZ.
