Natali Laverne Turner

COLUMBIA – A Mass of Christian Burial for Natali Turner, 73, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 3600 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel is assisting the family.

Natali Turner passed Saturday, November 12, 2022. Born in New York, she was a daughter of the late Filmore Turner, and Alma Garnett. A graduate of the University of Phoenix, Natali achieved a Masters in Nursing. She worked in nursing homes and hospitals, including Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, and McLeod Healthcare, Florence. Natali was a member of the American Nursing Association.

She loved nursing, word puzzles, and thoroughly enjoyed taking her online nursing classes. She loved her children and was very proud of their accomplishments. Natali loved the church and was an active member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Surviving are her sons, Jimmie Patterson, Christopher Patterson (Margaret), William “Bill” Patterson and his fiancé Denise Johnson, Sean Patterson (Joanna); sister, Yvonne Turner; grandchildren, Marcus and Marcel Patterson, Mikael Patterson, Cameron Patterson, Sophia Patterson, Emma Patterson, Bernard Drozd, Abigail Proveaux, Daniel and Samuel Parker. She was predeceased by her brother, Claude Turner.
