A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Malvern Hill Baptist Church. There will also be a celebration of life service held at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Springs, WV at Noon on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
Nancy was born March 10, 1962 in Princeton, West Virginia to Willie Moye and Mary Okes Dorsey. She was employed by Beckley Cash Register and The State of West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services before relocating to Camden in 2016. Nancy was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church and loved flowers. Most importantly, she was a dedicated wife and a loving mother.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her two sons, Jeremy David and Nicholas Tyler. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, David Simmons, two daughters, Opal Imagene Simmons, Mary Elizabeth Simmons, three sisters, Willa Ellison, Melba Lilly, Judy Bruce, a brother, Russell Moye and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
