Linda Reyes Reep

ELGIN Funeral service for Linda Reyes Reep, 65, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be; Harry Adkins, Ricky Adkins, Brian Adkins, Daniel Denton, Chris Bailey and Jacob Coleman. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home. Mrs. Reep went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 12, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Tacoma, Washington, she was a daughter of the late Cpt. Viviano and Gladys Reyes. She was a graduate of A.C. Flora High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Linda retired from BellSouth after many years where he handled Government and Major Accounts as a customer service associate. She was the league president for Cayce West Columbia Dixie Youth Baseball where she proudly served and dedicated 24 years. She was a loving mother, and Nana, as well as an avid lover of animals. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Tres R. and Jenna Reep of Lugoff; step-daughter, Tonya D. Reep of Columbia; grandchildren, Drake R. and Emilee M. Reep of Lugoff, Megan Campbell of Columbia; brothers, Steve Reyes of Springfield, Andy Reyes of West Columbia; and sister, Kathleen Stevens of Lexington. She was predeceased by husband, Jimmy R. Reep; daughter, Robin Reep McClenny; and sister, Judy R. Adkins.
