James "Trey" Richard Daniels III

Trey Daniels, beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, and friend of many, passed from this life unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the age of 33. He was born in Florence, SC and spent the majority of his life in Lexington, SC. Trey touched the hearts of everyone he met during his journey on this Earth and although he left us far too soon, the memory of his spirit will forever live on.

Trey was a good man with a heart full of compassion. He also possessed a unique sense of humor that could brighten the darkest of days. Trey had a special place in his heart for animals, often finding solace and joy in their company.

He was a loyal friend to many and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Trey never met a stranger. He was also a die-hard Gamecocks and Celtics fan. We remember Trey for the love he shared and the kindness he showed to those around him. He is forever young and leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and compassion that will remain in our hearts forever.

Trey was a loving husband to Emily Daniels; a devoted son to Mishelle and Mike Harvey; a cherished brother to Danielle Miller; a doting uncle to Dawson, Jamilyn, and Cameryn; and a caring stepfather to Tyler and Emma. Trey is also survived by his grandma, Linda Boggs; aunt, Mandy Clark (Eric); aunt, Melissa Buchholz (Jon); uncle, Rickey Boggs (Rocky), and many cousins. He will be deeply missed by each and every one of them.

He is predeceased by his father, James Richard Daniels, Jr., "Jamie"; his grandfather, James Richard Daniels, Sr., "Jimmy"; and his grandma, Hazel Daniels. His presence in their life brought warmth, laughter, and love.

As we mourn his untimely and unexpected passing, let us also remember the good times, the smiles, and the moments of joy that Trey brought into our lives. In our grief, let us find comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace and free from the burdens he carried. Rest in peace, Trey. You are loved, missed, and you will never be forgotten.

A graveside service will be held for Trey at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Dust to Dust Cemetery at 205 Nulty Crossing Rd, Swansea, SC 29160. All who knew Trey are welcome to attend.
