A native of Columbia SC, Glenn was born on August 19, 1954. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Mary Long Higgins.
Survivors include his son, Bryan Higgins (Jennifer), daughter Jessica Higgins, his sister, Virginia Herring (Hunter), nephew Jason Herring (Amy), niece Ashley Warthen (Matthew) and two great nieces and a great nephew. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Molly.
After high school, Glenn and a partner founded Graphitti Screenprinting. He later started Champ Screenprinting, which he owned and operated for twenty years.
Glenn loved playing his guitar and listening to music, especially The Beatles. He collected their music and memorabilia.
Glenn was a life-long member of Greene Street United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Greene Street United Methodist Church, PO Box 2427, Columbia, SC 29202.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
