Mrs. Hermann died Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Born on February 26, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jacques Franke and Emma Marion Franke. She graduated secretarial school and worked as an executive assistant for forty years.
Surviving are her son, Steven Kopec of London; stepson, Gary Hermann of Walterboro, SC; stepdaughter, Gay Lynn Kirsch of Reston, VA; grandchildren, Karl Hermann, Karli Jean Razak, and Sara Lynn Kirsch; great-grandchildren, Aaron Thomas Razak, Dylan Thomas Razak, Reagan Katherine Hermann, and Rowan Joseph Hermann; and nephews, Charles Chessick and Christopher Chessick.
In addition to her parents and her first husband, Robert Kopec, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Karl Hermann.
