Kimberly Smith

Kimberly Smith, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 39. Reared in Marion County, she has moved about and lived in numerous places; but, always came home to Foxworth. Kim was a free spirit with a great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh and smile. She was fiercely loyal and with her loving, gentle spirit would give to anyone who had a need. Her greatest pleasure came from giving gifts to others just to see them smile. Kim was a loving, kind, caring daughter and will be remembered for her contagious laugh. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Verna and James Dunaway; her paternal grandparents, Irene and Johnnie Smith; her father, Scottie Smith; her brother, Jamie Smith; and an uncle, Mike Dunaway. Kim is survived by her mother, Debbie Smith; aunts and uncles, Hilda and Calep Beard, Barbara and Johnnie Gail Smith, and Jewell and Donnie Powell; and numerous loving cousins. There will be a visitation for Kim on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral service, officiated by A. D. Gammill, will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Mount Sinai Church of God Cemetery assisted by Patrick Smith, Parrish Smith, Clay Dyess, Carter Dyess, Caleb Dyess, and Brett Powell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade McKenzie, Terry Powell, Brett Slocum, Johnny Bullock, Drew McDaniel, and Lyle Doublet.
