Heather Dianne Thomas Graham, of Sandy Hook, Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the age of 46. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County, a 1994 graduate of West Marion High School, and was currently employed with Southern Tire Mart. Heather was a longtime member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and volunteered with the Lunch Bunch. She enjoyed life, loved to laugh, and had a smile that could brighten anyone's day. She enjoyed going to the beach, watching sunsets, trail riding, showing horses, and chasing the rodeo road with her girls. Heather spent countless hours showing horses and especially enjoyed showing PJ with whom she had a special bond. She was a loving daughter, sister, and mother and Heather will be remembered for her very outgoing, outspoken, loving, and giving personality. She was loved by many family, friends, and coworkers and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her Angel Baby; her grandparents, Claude and Verna Cole and Willard and Merlie Thomas; and an uncle, Danny Dannon Cole. Heather is survived by her husband, Jason Graham; two daughters, Anna Catherine Miller (Colby) and Cassidy Merle Graham; her parents, Terry and Judy Thomas; a sister, Vanessa David (Ben); two aunts Lazette Everett (Jack) and Debbie Cole; an uncle, Sammy Thomas (Linda); two nephews, Wyatt David and Will David; and many cousins who will miss her smile and enthusiasm for family gatherings.
There will be a visitation for Heather at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Zachary Smith, will at the church on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10:00am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Heather’s honor to the Andrew McBeath Scholarship Fund via the American Quarter Horse Association.
