Gregory Alan “Greg” Moore, of the Improve Community in Mississippi, passed away at the University Medical Center in Jackson on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the age of 65. He was born in Columbia to Floyd and Merle Moore and has remained a lifelong resident of Marion County. Greg was an avid New Orlean Saints fan and enjoyed watching ballgames with his boys. He had a big heart and will be remembered for the love he had for his children and grandchildren. Greg was a member of Improve Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Moore. Greg is survived by two sons, Alan Moore and Adam Moore; two grandchildren, Peyton Moore and Khloe Moore; and his ex-wife, Tammy Saul.
The funeral service for Greg will be at the graveside in Improve Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:00am.
